Candle Care
-
Before Lighting
Trim the Wick: Make sure the wick is trimmed to about 1/4 inch. This helps prevent excessive smoke and soot.
Check the Surface: Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface to avoid any accidents or damage from heat.
-
While Lighting
Allow Full Melting: Let the candle burn until the wax melts evenly to prevents tunneling.
Avoid Drafts: Keep the candle away from drafts, vents, or fans. Drafts can cause uneven burning and may lead to soot formation.
-
After Using
Upcycle: When you have just 1/4" to 1/2" of wax remaining in your candle, it's best to stop using it and consider repurposing the glass.
Tip for cleaning: Freeze the candle until the wax becomes solid, then it should easily pop out.
